Georges Khabbaz Takes Part in Two Films atthe Hamburg International Film Festival

Georges Khabbaz is participating in the Hamburg International Film Festival in
Germany with two films in which he stars. The first is the festival’s Opening Film,
Mille Secrets, Mille Dangers, directed by Oscar-nominated Canadian filmmaker
Philippe Falardeau. Shot in Montreal in French and based on a story by Alain
Farah, the film also screened in the Official Selection at the Toronto
International Film Festival (TIFF).
The second film is “Younan”, directed by Amir Fakher Eldin and co-starring
European cinema icon Hanna Schygulla. The film was shot in Hamburg in
German.
“Younan,” which previously competed in the Official Selection of the Berlin
International Film Festival, has won nine awards at several international
festivals, three of which Khabbaz received as Best Lead Actor.
