The Arab-British Chamber announced the appointment of Ms. Rita Masoud as the Secretary-General and Interim Chief Executive Officer of the Chamber, effective September 19.

Masoud has over 25 years of leadership experience in the UK and the Middle East. Since joining the Chamber in 2008, she has implemented numerous strategic initiatives, worked closely with the Board of Directors, and supported the professional development of numerous graduates through the Chamber’s internship program. She has also managed leadership transitions and chaired the Chamber’s events program for nearly a decade, including the Arab-British Economic Summit. Masoud holds an MBA, MSc in HR, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and holds a BSc in Mathematics.

Masoud succeeds Bandar Redha in this position, and upon her appointment, she announced that she would seek to launch the Chamber into a new phase of growth and development, enhancing the value of membership and deepening partnerships.
